The members of this galant band of superhuman crusaders are Finian Carney from Knockbridge, Dundalk Co. Louth. Eugene Larkin from Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh and Conor O'Neill from Annagassan, Co. Louth. A young man called Michael Corbett from Gort in Co. Galway has decided to join us for our adventures in South America.

These fearless warriors pictured here at the Taj Mahal intend to sample the wares of some of the most remote waterholes throughout Asia and indeed the rest of the world. Our Journey began in Dublin on the 7th of Sept 2003 on route to Delhi, India.

 

 

 

Welcome to the extreme backpackers website. This website has been set up by 3 Irish backpackers who are currently travelling overland around the world.

From India we trekked through Nepal across the Himalayas into Tibet and China. From China to Southeast Asia and the countries : Vietnam / Cambodia and Thailand. On February 2004 we shipped out to Australia where we worked for 9 months. Travelling next to New Zealand for 3 weeks in December and then in January 2005 we arrived in South America hitching right from the Southern tip of Cape Horne up to Venezuala and Cuba. On the 28th of August 2005 Conor departed for Mexico to begin the Central American Leg.

As we travel through each country we hope to undate the website so check back to find out the latest news and images.

Conor is currently in nicaragua after completing his divemaster course in Honduras
